RVIA’s Summer 2024 RV RoadSigns forecast projected RV shipments to be in the mid-300,000 range by year’s end. The report is a quarterly forecast prepared by IT Economics.
By the end of 2024, the report anticipates between 329,900 to 359,100 RV shipments with a median of 344,000 shipments. The report estimates shipment growth in 2025 with a range between 374,200 to 408,600 with a median of 391,400 shipments.
RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby said, “This new forecast reinforces our cautious optimism that the worst of the impact from interest rate increases are behind us and that we will see a continued rise in shipments through the remainder of this year and into next year.”
The estimate nears a historic 350,000 shipment total for the industry. From 2002-2007, the industry averaged 355,052 annual RV shipments. After the Great Recession, from 2013-2015, the industry averaged 350,702 annual RV shipments.
RVIA will hold a webinar for association members on the Summer 2024 RV RoadSigns report at 1 p.m. ET June 12.
