The goHomePort opening in Warren, Michigan was marked with a congressional certificate. Upon the RV service, rental and storage company’s ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 22, the company received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from the office of Congressman John James of Michigan’s 10th District.
The certificate recognized “outstanding and invaluable service to the community.”
Lisa Damon-Brown, director of community relations for Congressman John James, presented the certificate to goHomePort RV Service and Repairs President Mike Douglas and goHomePort Warren Operations Manager Mike Low.
The service and repair shop’s Michigan location marks the company’s sixth national opening. The shop shares a location with Warren RV Storage at 6900 E. Mile Rd. The Warren shop includes four service bays.
The service center is open to the public in addition to RVers who store their vehicles at the location.
Low said many consumers “store onsite and are excited to be able to receive service when, otherwise they might be waiting weeks or months to get in somewhere else.”
goHomePort plans to open additional locations in California, Kansas and Texas later this year.
