RVDA will host a “super lawyers panel” comprised of RV industry legal experts during its 2021 Dealers Convention/Expo.
The RVDA convention runs Nov. 8-12 at Paris Las Vegas.
RV dealer and manufacturer representatives will appear on the panel, along with a special guest presenter, to provide ideas for preventing and defending lawsuits against a dealership.
The panel is scheduled for 2-4:15 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Champagne 4 ballroom in the Paris Convention Center.
The speakers planned are Rob Cohen, industry legal consultant, who is set to speak about expecting litigation; Enoch Hutchcraft, expert witness and consultant for RVForensics, who plans to discuss partnering with manufacturers to regain customers while protecting both companies from litigation; Scott Powell, founder and president of Powell Law, who will discuss effective vehicle inspections and potential litigation; and Harold Oehler, of Oehler mediation, whose topic is negotiating a “win-win-win” mediated agreement.
“The panel will outline new strategies dealers, manufacturers and their management teams can use to avoid expensive and time-consuming litigation,” RVDA President Phil Ingrassia said. “Always thought-provoking and engaging, this session has become one of the ‘must-attend’ events at the convention/expo.”
