RVDA Canada is seeking nominations for the 2022 Walter Paseska Canadian RV Dealer of the Year Award. The award will be bestowed by Camping Canada’s RV Lifestyle Magazine and Camping Canada’s Dealer News.
This award is presented to a Canadian RV dealer who is a successful business leader, philanthropist, mentor, and strong supporter of the local community. The individual should advocate for the RV industry and support positive RV legislation or reform to promote the RV lifestyle, RVDA Canada said.
The award is given in memory of the late Walt Paseska, founder of Walt’s Trailer Sales in Headingley, Manitoba, a dedicated member of the RV industry. The award was established in 1989.
RVDA Canada asks for nominations of Canadian dealers who exhibit:
- Long-term dedication to the RV industry
- Capable leadership
- Desire to actively promote the RV lifestyle
- Strong commitment and participation in the RVDA
- Integrity and credibility
- An ability to significantly contribute to the community
Anyone may submit a nomination. The award selection committee is comprised of the past five Dealer of the Year Award recipients and one representative from RV Lifestyle Magazine. A maximum of three candidates per province/region will be considered for the award.
The award will be presented during the RVDA of Canada annual meeting Nov. 9 at the RVDA Convention/Expo. The winner must be present to receive the award.
