RVDA hired Julianne Ryder as director of operations, effective Feb. 14.
In her new position, Ryder will be a team leader several association functions, ranging from information technology to meeting planning, to human resources and member development. She will serve as an RVDA staff liaison to volunteer leaders on association boards and committees as well as with key RV industry stakeholders.
Over the next month, Ryder will work closely with RVDA Vice President for Administration Ronnie Hepp, who is set to retire in March.
Ryder previously worked as an association executive at the United Motorcoach Association, where she served as director of marketing. She has experience in project and financial management, new technology implementation and membership growth initiatives.
Ryder also served as RVDA’s marketing communications specialist from 2012-16. She began her professional career at the National League of Cities where she served as the managing editor of their weekly national newspaper. She is a graduate of Hofstra University.
RVDA President Phil Ingrassia called her addition to the RVDA team an “asset to RVDA and the entire industry.”
“Her dedication to enhancing member engagement will support the association’s mission to help RV dealers achieve and maintain success,” Ingrassia said.
RVDA is the only national association dedicated to advancing the RV retailer’s interests through education, member services, industry leadership, and market expansion programs that promote the increased sale and use of RVs and enhance the positive image of the RV experience.
