After receiving positive feedback from fall training sessions featuring Marshall Excelsior, Stromberg Carlson, Safe-T-Alert, Girard, Spyder Controls and Truma, the RVDA of Canada is promoting three upcoming webinars in February.

The trainings are open to anyone in the RV industry. Further RV training events can be found on rvcareers.ca/event-listing.

Bauer Products is set to host a 30-minute training event at 10 a.m. PST Feb. 9 titled the Next Generation of RV Locks. Through Bauer’s Keyed Alike system, RV manufacturers can offer RVs using a single key to open entry doors, slam latches, cam latches and any other lock on the exterior of the vehicle.

Since 2020, Bauer Products introduced a Bluetooth-enabled latch system to allow the user to operate the latch through an app on a phone, smart watch, touch pad or key.

Bauer will offer training on developments in a new generation of RV locks and upgrading opportunities in the parts store. Register online here.

RVDA of Canada will offer a 45-minute webinar at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 titled “Who is Driving Your Parts Business?” The webinar will help dealers manage their parts and accessories inventory and help dealers turn parts departments into a profit center. Register for that webinar here.

On Feb. 23, the Canada RVDA is hosting a 45-minute webinar at 10 a.m. on how to measure a parts department’s profits by product categories. The webinar will challenge attendees to look at what systems they have in place to measure efficiencies and profitability. It will seek to address whether staff have the resources they need to receive up to date product/inventory information and offer the best advice to customers to maximize profits.
