RVDA of Canada released its Election Advocacy Kit to enable its members to engage with Members of Parliament (MPs) and other policymakers.
Canada’s 45th federal general election will be held April 28.
The kit includes tools and information to participate in grassroots advocacy including templates, guidelines, data, insights, instructions for contacting candidates, tips for preparing for meetings, key messages to share and guidance on post-meeting follow-up.
RVDA of Canada said it operates on a non-partisan basis and its focus is on advocating for the Canadian RV industry’s interests.
“Your engagement should reflect this same non-partisan approach,” RVDA of Canada said, “emphasizing the importance of our sector to the Canadian economy, tourism and local communities.”
RVDA of Canada said it continues to advocate at the national level, but local engagement remains a powerful tool. The association urges its members to connect with local policymakers to share RV industry perspectives.
