Theresa Syer of Syer Hospitality Group will lead two workshop sessions at the 2024 RVDA Convention/Expo Nov. 11-15 at Paris Las Vegas.

Syer has supported hundreds of clients’ shifts from product-centric businesses to customer-centric models. Each of her sessions are in the Dealer/GM education track.

Syer’s first session is at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12. The session, titled “Cruise Control: Steering Your RV Service Recovery,” will feature a five-step service recovery process. Syer will provide dealers with tools and skills to address customer concerns.

The session will enable dealers to identify customer expectations during service disruptions in addition to navigating and defusing upset consumers. The workshop will help dealers address consumer concerns and restore satisfaction after service disruptions.

Syer’s second session is scheduled for 2 p.m. Nov. 13. Syer will host “Elevating Experiential Leadership: Exploring Emotional Intelligence Essentials.”

The course will explain emotional intelligence (EI) fundamentals and its relevance. Syer will discuss EI strategy’s effect on communication, conflict resolution and decision-making. She will introduce techniques such as self-awareness and relationship management to improve EI skills.
