Michael Rees, president of A World of Training and Spader Business Management 20 group facilitator, will deliver a pair of workshops in the dealer/GM track at the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

The convention/expo will take place Nov. 8-12, 2021, at Paris Las Vegas.

“Excellent, or World-Class?” will take place from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Nov. 11. The workshop will show attendees how to take their dealerships to the next level where excellence is no longer sufficient.

Learning objectives for the session include:

  • Five reasons why employees stay working at a better class dealership.
  • Knowing what kind of dealership you have.
  • Taking it up a notch with simple tips to stand out from the crowd.

Rees’ second session, “Higher Margins – Mindset, Inventory, Processes and More,” will be from 3:15-4:15 p.m. Nov. 11. He will take dealers through specific actions and processes that, if implemented, will help them retain increased margins.

Learning objectives for the session include:

  • The best way to control margins without losing business to your competition.
  • Improving operations while working with customers, both internal and external.
  • Avoiding common mistakes that will reduce margins in the future.
  • Benefits and drawbacks of additional fees.

The RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is working to provide a variety of workshops and networking events that will aid dealers in building on an expanding market and interest in RVs and RV travel.
