RVDA made its first workshop announcement for the 2021 Convention/Expo at Paris Las Vegas. Marketing consulting Tanya Miller will host presentations on messaging and customer acquisition.

Miller is the president of Secret Weapon Media Agency and will make her first appearance as a speaker at the convention.

RVDA previously announced author and leadership coach Nathan Jamail as the keynote speaker.

Miller’s first session, titled “Stealth Targeting Techniques” will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 10. The workshop will show attendees cookie-free options to stay in touch with website visitors.

Among the takeaways from the presentation will be how to target prospects based on known behavioral tendencies, how to tap into new prospects based on custom audiences available through specific types of partnerships and ways to take advantage of new technology to engage with dealership visitors.

The second workshop, “What are Your Ads Saying and Why Does It Matter?”, will take place from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Nov. 11. The workshop will teach the value of including an emotional hook in marketing and focusing on one message in video ads.

Among the takeaways will be identifying emotional hooks relevant to the target customer, learning compelling unique value propositions to increase business and the importance of video ads and a strong call to action.

The workshops are among 16 listed on RVDA’s convention website, as well as three Vendor Training Plus sessions. The convention site is available at www.rvda.org/convention and the association said regular updates will be added.

Among the workshop speakers currently set to appear are Trader Interactive CEO Lori Stacy, Spader Business Management’s David Spader, Wells Fargo CDF’s John Peak, Kenect’s McKay Allen, KPA’s Brian Davies, Wheeler Advertising’s Kathi Greear and Annie Wheeler-Rusch, Better Vantage Point’s Tom Kline, A World of Training President Michael Rees and 9Clouds’ Matt Stoffel.
