House and Senate RV Caucus Members have been champions for the RV industry and lifestyle since its inception more than five years ago. These individuals represent members of the industry from across the country and advocate on behalf of the industry on legislative and regulatory RV industry issues in our nation’s capital.
In recent years, caucus members have provided support on important industry issues such as tariffs, HUD definitions and campground modernization and expansion by testifying at hearings, introducing legislation and trumpeting the industry positions to administration officials. Caucus members were also critical in supporting the RV Industry Association’s petition to add lauan back into the GSP trade program, saving the industry an estimated $1 million per month.
The RVIA also provides the House and Senate RV Caucuses opportunities for senators, representatives and their staff to learn more about the vital role RVs play in the outdoor recreation and travel industries through industry information, news stories and briefings, as well as education events throughout the year.
Growing the ranks of the House and Senate RV Caucuses is critical to growing the influence of the RV industry on Capitol Hill and there is no better way to grow the membership of the Caucuses than for constituents to ask their members of Congress to join.
