RVIA will recognize individuals, companies and organizations with its RVIA Awards Program at RVs Move America Week June 4-8 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.
According to RVIA, the awards honor exceptional service and achievements in RV standards, education and government affairs. RVIA’s Awards Committee oversees the annual program. Committee members collaborate with staff and industry colleagues to identify, nominate, and name honorees.
The association will bestow three awards at noon on June 5:
- The David J. Humphreys RV Industry Unity Award will honor an individual who inspires others in the RV industry to work collectively for the growth and industry improvement.
- The National Education Service Award will be given to an individual who has helped develop RV industry educational programs.
- The Distinguished Achievement in RV Standards will honor an individual who has contributed to RV industry standards.
The association will award four individuals at noon on June 6:
- The Distinguished Service to the RV Industry award will be presented to an individual who has performed outstanding service. According to RVIA, it is the association’s highest honor.
- The National Legislative Award will be given to an individual who has distinguished himself or herself in RV industry legislative matters.
- The Special Award will be presented to an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to the industry’s overall success.
- The National Scholastic Award, which will be presented to state/regional association directors or institutions who have helped advance industry technical training.
