RVIA will host an in-person event Feb. 9 in Elkhart, Indiana, to detail soon-to-be-released Go RVing research.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Crystal Ballroom in downtown Elkhart. Doors open for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. The event is free and open to all RVIA members.

Members can register by clicking here.

The seminar is based on Go RVing’s Path to Purchase Research. The research looks at RV owners, intenders and abandonments and examines the decision-making process for each group.

The study also explores each group’s mindset leading to an additional RV purchase, such an upgrade, different RV type, a first-time purchase for new RVers, or an abandonment or postponement an RV purchase.

During the event, attendees will hear from Go RVing marketing experts Karen Redfern, Courtney Bias and Sarah Neely. Ipsos conducted the research, and Tim Reimer and Angela Pitts from the company will speak as well. RVIA Vice President of Membership and Research Bill Baker will lead the discussion.

Topics will include vital findings for companies on new and repeat buyers told through the prism of a couple buying a new RV and then another RV. Go RVing will provide input on strategies and efforts they leverage to target both new and repeat RV buyers and how brands can implement similar strategies. Panelists will review key items keeping current owners in the market and brand loyal.
