RVIA invites its members to learn more about state-level legislation regarding Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) at 1 p.m. ET today.
RVIA and the Alliance for Automotive Innovation will host a webinar titled “PFAS Legislation and Its Impact on the RV Industry.”
PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals,” are found in many RV items, including carpets/rugs, upholstery, fabric treatments, cleaning products and adhesives. Industry leaders and regulatory experts will provide insight and advice for navigating the chemicals’ new state-level compliance regulations. The webinar comes on the heels of Minnesota’s recently enacted stringent PFAS laws, including bans and reporting requirements for products containing these chemicals.
Attendees will:
- Receive an introduction to and understanding of PFAS.
- Understand current PFAS regulatory and legislative rulings in participating states, including Minnesota and Maine.
