RVIA’s RV Aftermarket Conference featured nearly 2,000 individual meetings between segment leaders in a speed-dating format. Companies in the aftermarket segment used the time to network and discuss current and new products and services as well as develop strategies for expanding their business in the coming year, RVIA said.
Day two of the conference featured marketing consultant and best-selling author of “Duct Tape Marketing,” John Jantsch.
During a lunch presentation, Jantsch shared ideas about the changing landscape of buying behavior, particularly by Gen X and millennial consumers.

- Attraction: Micro-influencers, SEO, and customer-generated content
- Social selling: Social listening, sales outreach, and brand ambassadors
- Loyalty: Repeat customers, subscriptions, product extensions, and post-sales content
Also on day two, Garry Enyart, former director of RV business with Cummins, Inc., and Curt Hemmeler, RV Technical Institute executive director, led a special session about repair event cycle time and provided an update on technician training.
