RVIA Soliciting Stories During National Park Week

The National Park Service is hosting National Park Week from April 22 to April 30. Entrance fees will be waived for all national parks on Earth Day, April 22.

National Park Service parks, programs and partners will host events and activities throughout the week. Various parks will commemorate Earth Day; the Park Service will host a virtual discussion about young conservationists April 25 and it will mark National Junior Ranger Day April 28.

This year’s National Park Week theme will be “Park Stories.” The Park Service is inviting participants to share their favorite park memories on social media with the #Park Stories around specific themes such as inspiration, gratitude, fun and love, each day of National Park Week. Each day’s prompts are available here.

To celebrate the same theme, RVIA is collecting RV industry stories about “favorite outdoor recreation experiences or special connections” to parks to be shared in the association’s newsletter or social media channels.

To share a memory with RVIA, email PR and Communications Specialist Laura Baird at [email protected].
