Jay Landers, RVIA vice president of government affairs, has been nominated for the National Association for RV Parks and Campgrounds’ (ARVC) Stan Martin Memorial Award.
The award is the ARVC’s highest honor, the association stated, which recognizes individuals in the RV park and campground sector of the outdoor hospitality industry. Nominees’ involvement, leadership, creativity and dedication are taken into consideration.
Landers was selected for his leadership and partnership with ARVC to help the park and campground industry throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
“I am truly honored to be nominated for this award,” Landers stated. “The strength of the RV industry stems from our ability to come together and work towards a shared goal. This has never been more evident than this past spring and summer when we came together to ensure campgrounds were recognized as essential businesses and able to maintain operations at such a critical time. It was a tremendous accomplishment that would not have been possible without the work of many people from across the RV industry.”
