RV technicians are returning to their dealerships and service centers with bragging rights in hand and a Truma training certificate under their belt.
RVTI is partnering with Truma to offer training classes covering Truma’s AquaGo, an on-demand water heater, and Truma’s Combi, a 2-in-1 furnace and water heater. Free eight-hour training classes will be offered throughout the year at RVTI’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana.
RVTI Executive Director Curt Hemmeler said, “This is a great example of the strategic plan that was laid out when RVTI was first launched. This course’s Level 2 pre-requisite will allow technical knowledge to be delivered at a higher level right out of the gate. This elevates the course’s productivity and outcome. Additionally, this method means that technicians are away from their dealerships for less time.”
Completing the class will add eight hours of training time towards RVTI’s Level 3 Appliance Specialist certification. Truma will provide a certification to be uploaded to attendees’ RVTI Level 3 Appliance application.
RVTI said the course was another way the facility and its partners work to enhance technician training and improve RVing experiences.
To attend, technicians must have their RVTI Level 2 certification.
Registration for each session will open six weeks before the event date. Up to 20 technicians may attend the training.
Class will be held Feb. 10, Feb. 24, March 17, April 7, April 28, June 16, July 7, Aug. 25, Sept. 15, Oct. 27 and Dec. 15.
