The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) will highlight “The Power of Community Engagement” from noon to 1 p.m. EST Nov. 6 in its Coffee, Lunch and Learn series.

The Friday discussion will touch on different inspirational and organizational approaches RV industry members use with colleagues to engage local communities, drive successful business and develop inclusive leadership skills.

Winnebago Industries’ Katy Friesz, Lippert Components’ Michilah Grimes and Grand Design’s Connie Begly will lead the discussion. Topics include community engagement and volunteering benefits, increasing employee satisfaction and awareness of community needs, building additional skills and other inclusive workplace initiatives.

Special guest Anastasia Schue with Lippert Components will touch on identifying community needs with team members and non-profit work’s importance.

“Volunteering not only makes a positive impact on the lives of others, but it also enables employees to have the fulfilling experience of strengthening our communities,” RVWA stated. “Community engagement boosts morale, skills and a collaborative and inspired team.”
