Safe-Guard Products promoted two company leaders to new positions. The RV, marine, powersports and automotive software provider appointed Joe Zhang as chief financial officer and Alen Gong as chief risk officer.
Safe-Guard President and CEO David Pryor said, “Joe and Alen’s roles will amplify our ability to deliver advanced data-driven solutions, and their combined expertise and vision will be crucial as we continue to deliver unparalleled solutions to our clients.”
Zhang joined the company in 2013 and was previously Safe-Guard’s vice president of strategy and analytics. Zhang was responsible for building and overseeing sales analytics and corporate development functions. He developed long-term strategic plans, built the company’s data-driven sales force effectiveness model and was a key contributor to Safe-Guard’s Dealer Solutions and Design acquisition.
In his new role, Zhang will focus on building strategic alignment across all departments within Safe-Guard.
“Our strong financial position is crucial to our ability to innovate and grow,” Zhang said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to ensure we continue to deliver exceptional value to our partners.”
Gong joined Safe-Guard in 2016. He developed and modernized the provider’s risk management function. He served as chief actuary, where he was responsible for the company’s portfolio of protection products’ sustainability and underwriting.
In his new role, Gong will focus on strengthening the company’s risk mitigation strategies. Gong will leverage the newly created data governance function to support the provider’s client growth.
“In today’s dynamic market, effective risk management is more critical than ever,” Gong said. “I am eager to apply my expertise in this new capacity to ensure Safe-Guard remains at the forefront of industry best practices while continuing to drive growth and innovation.”
