AFC, a floorplan financing provider to RV and other independent dealers, has named a new president.
Will Mitchell will become AFC’s president effective April 1. AFC is a division of Openlane, a digital marketplace for vehicle dealers.
Mitchell will succeed Jim Money, whose retirement was announced in December.
AFC works with more than 14,000 RV and other industry dealers.
Mitchell has been with AFC since 2015 and most recently was the company’s chief operating officer. In his expanded role, Mitchell will oversee AFC’s vision, strategy and operations. The job encompasses business development, sales, field and commercial operations.
Additionally, Mitchell will join Openlane’s executive leadership team and report to Openlane CEO Peter Kelly.

Mitchell has 20 years of experience spanning strategy, planning, business development and operations..
Under his leadership, AFC has grown its market share, launched new flexible financing solutions for independent dealers and advanced the company’s digital transformation.
Before his time with AFC, Mitchell held business development and strategy roles at companies in the energy and other industries. He served for eight years in the Army National Guard.
