Solar appliance supplier EcoSolarCool unveiled its new solar-powered, portable refrigerator.
The company touted the new 3.4-cubic-foot offering as a way to keep food protected in times such as the recent power lo
sses in Texas, which left many residents without power.
“EcoSolarCool is very excited about having this new portable choice available,” company spokesperson Shelby Sansone said. “The more solar refrigerators we are able to offer the better. We want all potential customers to have a product that can be affordable and a good fit for their needs,
especially in an emergency.”
The portable fridge includes and runs on a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts for at least 12 hours, the company stated. The battery can be charged with solar power in addition to DC power from an RV, car or home socket.
The ESCR1XPR unit can be used on a boat, tiny home or off-grid shelter. The new fridge can run on 12-, 24- and 120-volt power.
EcoSolarCool manufactures solar refrigerators and freezer products ranging in sizes from 3.4 to 15.9-cubic-feet. “We design products that provide independence, reduce greenhouse gas pollution and could even increase property value,” the company stated.
