A picture of the Spartech logo.

Spartech is implementing sustainable practices in its Floorlite product line. The supplier crafts thermoplastics and packaging solutions geared toward various transportation markets, including RV applications.

The Floorlite line’s thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) and thermoplastic rubber (TPR) sheets are now made from recyclable post consumer resin (PCR). Floorlite products’ construction will vary from 25% to 39% of PCR.

Spartech Market Development Manager Gabriel Knee said, “While there is a lot of talk about sustainability within the industry, I am proud to be part of one of many Spartech initiatives to make it happen.”

The Floorlite products are durable, lightweight sheets with mar-resistant surfaces. The sheets are surface stain and discoloration-resistant.

The products are approved for automotive applications such as non-carpet flooring protection. The Floorlite line meets the specifications of automotive manufacturers including Ford, GM and Chrysler.
