Suburban, an Airxcel brand, promoted Mike Shaver to vice president of engineering and quality. In his new role, Shaver will introduce new products as well as improve product quality through robust design and reliability testing, the company said.
“Mike brings more than 15 years of experience in the appliance industry to Suburban,” said Mike Phillips, Suburban general manager. “He is also an exceptional leader and brings an innovative style to the new product development process that compresses the launch cycle and enables Suburban to better align to our customer’s needs.”
Shaver said he looks forward to building strong relationships with Suburban’s customers and working with his new team to deliver results.
“We want to continue to bring innovative new products to our customers that make the RV experience more enjoyable and more fun,” Shaver said. “ I am looking forward to growing the engineering and quality departments so we can expand that work. We have an exciting roadmap for Suburban and some great new products on the way.”
