SuperSprings International (SSI) said the company’s president and marketing director will be leaving the company effective Aug. 1. SSI Chairman and CEO Gerry Lamberti will assume the president’s responsibilities on an interim basis.
Company President Adam Weisner is leaving to become CEO at a financial sector company. Marketing Director Tom Bateman also will join the company.
“Naturally it is really tough to say goodbye to such awesome people,” Lamberti said. “Adam has been a force for change and growth at SSI over the past five years and we have a lot to be thankful for. I’m very understanding of their calling and am looking forward to seeing their success in this next venture. Where we are as a company today has a lot to do with the contributions of Adam and Tom. We wish them well on the very heartfelt road ahead.”
Over the past five years SuperSprings International more than doubled its top-line revenue and tripled its profits. Weisner and Bateman will lead the search to fill the marketing director’s role.
“When I joined SuperSprings International, Inc. five years ago, I had no idea how much I would come to love this place and the people here,” Weisner said. “I can say now that these have been the best career years of my life.”
