BMPRO, a power electronics and RV systems supplier, recently appointed Alex Bugeja, Chief Operations Officer (COO). As part of his new role, Bugeja will lead and scale BMPRO’s supply chain and production, research and development, engineering services, quality, and executive service teams.
Over his career, Bugeja has worked for the Reece Group and Jayco Recreational Vehicles Australia. Bugeja has over 25 years of experience delivering improvement programs as well as growth and cost management initiatives to meet evolving needs and strategic goals. His skills include working in complex manufacturing and distribution environments as well as collaborating with multiple stakeholders and partners both, locally and internationally, BMPRO said.
“I am grateful to be associated with a company that serves the recreational vehicle industry, something that has been a foundation of my career for the last 17 years at Jayco,” Bugeja said. “I am also excited to be venturing into new spaces such as power electronics that provide greater exposure to a more varied range of customers. I look forward to working with and representing another great Australian organization and contributing to its ongoing growth and success.”
BMPRO is making changes to strengthen its leadership for its next growth stage, the company said.
“Optimizing the way we work and creating value is at the heart of providing best-in-class power solutions and RV systems for our customers in a sustainable manner. I am delighted to welcome someone of Alex’s caliber and industry experience that will provide us with the leadership and rigor required to guide us towards achieving our strategic priorities, domestically and internationally,” CEO Louise Bayliss said. “Our BMPRO brand is approaching its 10-year anniversary and has gone through amazing growth and milestones. Expanding the team with great talent and experience makes the next 10 years of Setec BMPRO’s 54 years even more exciting, and I cannot wait to see what is in store.”
BMPRO has over 150,000 systems installed across various power management, control and monitoring systems in the RV industry worldwide.
