Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems launched Sunlight ElectroLiFe, its newest semi-traction lithium-ion battery.
Sunlight ElectroLiFe will be released to the U.S. market at the MODEX Show on March 28-31.
“We are excited to attend this year’s MODEX Show, launch ElectroLiFe, demonstrate KnoWi, and introduce to the U.S. market our diverse range of energy storage solutions,” said Todd Sechrist, president and CEO of Sunlight Batteries USA. “Sunlight has ambitious plans to invest significantly in the U.S. battery sector. The next few years will see the expansion and further automation of our North Carolina plant that will enhance local employment, better serve our customers, and contribute to the growth of the American battery market.”
The ElectroLiFe has an extended lifespan of over 2,000 cycles and can be connected to GLocal, Sunlight Group’s cloud platform. GLocal uses artificial intelligence to record, in real-time, key parameters regarding the operation of the battery.
At MODEX, attendees will see Sunlight’s smart battery monitoring system, KnoWi.
