Mobile power shortages can put a big damper on an RVers’ camping experience. Bluetti, an energy storage supplier, is debuting a new portable power station, the AC 180, to help consumers stay off-grid.
The AC180 puts out 1,800 watts and has a 1.152-watt-hour capacity. In the Power Lifting Mode, the new power station can put out 2,700 watts to “effortlessly run high-powered devices like kettles, hair dryers and microwaves,” Bluetti said.
“We are dedicated to more innovations (that are a) right fit for the increasing market demand,” said James Ray, Bluetti marketing director. “Our R&D team once envisioned a power station integrated with portability, capability, and cost performance, and now we have made it come true. AC180 has everything users could possibly need without costing an arm and a leg.”
The AC180 includes a 1.7-inch LCD display. The graphical user interface has been designed with a bigger font size than the company’s previous portable power stations to make instructions and power consumption indicators easier to read.
The power station uses LiFEPO4 battery cells and can be monitored with a Bluetti app. The AC180 has automatic blackout detection and can charge from zero to 80% in 45 minutes. The AC180 weighs a little over 77 pounds.
