Goal Zero released its new Yeti Pro 4000 power station and Tank Pro expansion batteries.

The Yeti Pro 4000 provides days of backup power in one device, giving consumers significantly more power and faster charging than the previous generation, the company said.

Together with the Tank Pro batteries, the Yeti PRO 4000 can provide up to 20,000-watt-hours of power.

Bill Harmon, general manager at Goal Zero, said: Goal Zero has long been the industry leader in solar generators and is well-known for its rugged Yeti power stations, which feature the best technology on the market. The Yeti Pro 4000 is the culmination of more than a decade of learnings, customer feedback and innovation, and is truly a market leader in both its features and its value.”

The Yeti Pro 4000 features 80% more power output than previous generation products. The Pro 4000 includes 3,600 watts of power out and a 7,200-watt surge. Upgraded lithium battery technology increased the batteries’ lifespan to over 4,000 cycles, or 10 years’ worth of daily use.

The Yeti Pro 4000 can accept 1,800 watts of AC power input, charging from 0% to 80% in two hours—three times faster than previous generation products. The power station can accept up to 3,000 watts of solar power input, shortening the charge time to under 90 minutes.

The power station is rated for portable outdoor use, meeting the standards for UL2743 and IPX3 certifications and passing Mil Std 810H vibration testing. The Yeti Pro 400 has an FCC Class B certification for safety. Its battery management system performs over 100 safety checkpoints per second.
