Pacbrake unveiled a new suspension kit made to assist tow vehicles that regularly haul heavy loads.
The Alpha HD 7500 Extreme Duty Air Bags are created for truck owners towing or hauling heavy loads, such as slide-in campers or fifth wheels. The offering is available for Dodge, Ford and GMC/Chevrolet 3/4 and 1-ton pickup trucks.
“When towing a boat or trailer, or even while hauling heavy loads, the rear springs can be pushed to the limit – resulting in excessive bounce, sagging ride height and an overall feeling of instability,” Pacbrake stated.
The product’s air bags or air springs help to level the truck’s stance and eliminate vehicle sag, sway, head roll and bottoming out issues, Pacbrake stated, while adding support for an overall smooth and safe ride. In addition, Pacbrake stated the product also helps with improving braking and steering control.
“The robust Alpha HD 7500 air springs are the only air springs on the market made with inch-thick, one-piece anodized aluminum end caps that are corrosion resistant,” Pacbrake stated. “In addition, the Alpha HD 7500 air springs are reinforced with 4-ply material and made with 20 support wires, thereby providing maximum strength and durability.”
The 7-inch double convoluted bellow type air springs have increased volume to support added load-leveling capacity. Each air spring suspension kit is equipped with corrosion-resistant roll plates, laser-cut powder-coated steel brackets, plated hardware, airline and all accessories required for bolt-on install.
