Swavelle Group Names Three New Leaders

New leaders will influence Swavelle Group’s textile production. The fabric and upholstery supplier services RV, outdoor, residential and commercial markets.

Swavelle appointed new positions including vice president of business development, vice president of customer solutions and design director.

Joe Kenney was named the company’s vice president of sales and business development. Kenney was promoted to his new position after serving 31 years at Swavelle.

The company said Kenney worked in various Swavelle areas, from commercial to RV markets. Kenny held leadership roles in sales, category and product development departments. In his new role, he will oversee the sales team, create strategic partnerships and prioritize customer needs.

Swavelle hired Christy Almond as its vice president of customer solutions. Almond brings a textile and residential industry experience to Swavelle.

In her new role, Almond will enhance customer initiatives and provide customized customer solutions. She will collaborate with the national accounts department to drive growth through service and support.

Erin Tsucalas is Swavelle’s new design director. Tsucalas brings more than 25 years of upholstery product development experience to Swavelle. She previously worked at companies such as Lexington Home Brands, Ethan Allen and Kravet.

She will manage the creative process for developing luxury home furnishing category textiles. Swavelle said Tsucalas will further the indoor and outdoor fabrics, resonating with its current clientele and appealing to a broader market.

Swavelle CEO Greg Thomases said the company congratulates each team member on their new roles.

He said, “Their combined expertise and leadership qualities will be invaluable as we drive growth and innovation alongside our customers in the marketplace.”
