The founder of a Florida-based manufacturing and RV parts and services company is coming out of retirement to lead the company.
Chris Throgmartin will return as Talin Manufacturing’s president and CEO as part of a company reorganization.
“We needed to reorganize and move personnel to make process improvements in our service and manufacturing divisions,” Throgmartin said, “and I felt it was best to lead the company through these changes. My full-time status will last until new processes are in place and I have our staff fully trained.”
Talin RV is halfway through an expansion plan identified in 2019, including a new facility that will be ready by the end of the year.
“I was very satisfied with our growth and gross revenue numbers for 2020 but our margins suffered,” Throgmartin said. “This continued into 2021 within our RV service division, Talin RV. We showed incredible growth but we needed to refocus our efforts on operational processes and make some internal changes to gain better efficiencies.”
Lindy Throgmartin, Chris Throgmartin’s son, was appointed vice president.
“Lindy has an extensive background in RVs, and I rely on him when making critical decisions,” Chris Throgmartin said. “He is a brilliant strategist, and his guidance is extremely important to our company.”
Ingrid Throgmartin will be executive vice president and lead the accounting and human resource duties. New hire Bethany Boston will manage all Talin operations as corporate director and report directly to the president and board. Boston was previously a marketing analyst for Throgmartin Holdings, the parent company to Talin.
“I moved Bethany from our holding company to Talin because of her organizational and process improvement skills,” Chris Throgmartin said. “The changes she has made in our operations has already resulted in increased efficiencies and helped boost our bottom line. Our financials are looking better every month and I have full confidence in her ability to operate Talin.”
Talin board of directors’ members Ingrid Throgmartin, Lindy Throgmartin, Natalia Throgmartin Lancaster and George Lancaster helped guide the reorganization.
Jason Stafford will assume the position of technical/financial advisor.
