Our Next Energy Inc. (One), a Michigan-based energy storage technology company, will supply Aries batteries for The Shyft Group Inc.’s Blue Arc EV Solutions platform. The batteries include the Aries 79 kWh and 62 kWh LFP packs.

Aries can be configured based on capacity, voltage and size, the company said. The Aries 79 kWh pack has been validated for safety and durability and the company will begin production pack production later this month.
The Shyft Group developed Blue Arc to provide emissions-free trucks to meet e-commerce needs. The company expects the Blue Arc delivery segment to grow by $62.71 billion from 2023 to 2027.

The Aries battery is manufactured in Van Buren Township, Michigan, in partnership with Piston Automotive.
