Training Association Hires Student Advisor

The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) hired Hola Motuapuaka as a student advisor.

Motuapuaka worked in public education from 2006 to 2014, serving as an admissions advisor to a technical training center. For the past eight years, she orchestrated marketing for her husband’s company, Status Sparkling Wine.

At NRVTA, Motuapuaka will work remotely to help potential students evaluate whether a career as a certified RV technician or inspector would be a good fit for them. She will process applications and help new students enroll in one of NRVTA’s training programs.

“With any new endeavor, people often have lots of questions. My job is to answer them to the best of my ability or direct them to other resources,” Motuapuaka said. “There is a lot of interest in RV service-oriented careers today, especially from older people wanting to move out of the corporate environment into businesses of their own where they can enjoy more time, location and financial freedom.

The school was looking for someone in the Pacific time zone to respond to inquiries, NRVTA National Sales Manager David Henderson said.

“Hola came highly recommended to me by several mutual acquaintances,” he said. “As I learned more about her background, I found her to be a talented, personable and creative professional.”
