Travelcamp RV, based in Jacksonville, Florida, opened three retail stores since December and is in the process of adding five new markets across the Southeast.
The dealership opened two stores in December, a location in Pinellas Park, Florida, to serve the Tampa market and another in Griffin, Georgia, serving the Atlanta region.
In February, Travelcamp RV opened a new story in Melbourne, Florida.
Among the dealer’s 2022 plans are:
· A new store in Fort Pierce, Florida, with a planned opening in early 2023.
· A new store in Orange Park, Florida, opening in June 2022 to help serve the Jacksonville market.
· A remodel of a former Harley Davidson dealership in Clermont, Florida, scheduled to open mid-year 2022.
· A new store in Greenville, North Carolina, set to open mid-year 2022.
· A remodel of a Southern States facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina, set to open in April.
“With this current pipeline of 13 stores, covering many major markets throughout the southeast, Travelcamp continues onward with their goal of expanding their reach to provide more of an exceptional RV customer sales and service experience to the growing base of RVers throughout the southeast United States,” the company stated.
Travelcamp RV stated it plans to nearly double staff the next 18 months.
