Truma North America has named new executive leaders as the company’s head of engineering, sales operation manager and operations manager.
Between the three new hires, they bring nearly 50 years of experience to the RV supplier.
“We recognize that strategic growth relies on having the right team in place and planning for the future,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, Truma, North America’s president and CEO. “We are celebrating 10 years of serving the North American market this year, which is exciting. At the same time, we are planning for the next 10 years and laying the foundation with a strong team, which includes building onto our stateside engineering team and supporting our operations.”
Matt Krieger will fill the operations manager role. Krieger has 15 years of experience in warehousing and distribution, Truma said, primarily in the eCommerce and business-to-consumer channels.
“My goals are to improve our warehouse utilization and fulfillment efficiencies to support future growth and customer satisfaction,” Krieger said. “As a company committed to offering superior products and enhancing customer experiences, we have numerous opportunities to make an impact on the industry through our own distribution and operation functions.”
Krieger will help Truma optimize space and better serve manufacturing partners, dealer partners and end consumers, the company said.
Jesus Torres will step in as Truma’s head of engineering. Torres brings 18 years of experience in product engineering and development. Torres has worked for the Whirlpool Corp., FCA and, most recently, Dometic. Torres will lead the engineering team from Truma’s Elkhart, Indiana, headquarters.
“I was immediately drawn to the products and people of Truma,” Torres said. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with the engineering team in Germany to develop a team and processes around the great products we already offer and our future product roadmap.”
Elkhart native Sean Steinke will be Truma’s sales operation manager, focusing on sales and distribution. Steinke has 16 years of sales and operations experience.
“We are in a challenging economic climate, and how we react now will be what pushes us into a position of success in the next five years,” Steinke said. “I am excited to help my teammates and Truma achieve our goals and continue to grow.”
