Truma will debut its Aventa high-efficiency air conditioner to the aftermarket beginning at this week’s America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The air conditioner, which rolled out to the market in the fall of 2021, previously was available only as an OE product.
“The No. 1 question we have received since bringing the Aventa stateside has been, ‘When can I buy it for my RV?’” Chief Operating Officer Mark Howlett said. “There is a demand from end users for a quieter, more efficient air conditioner, and we are very excited to begin offering that upgrade option.”
RV owners with non-ducted rooftop air conditioners can replace them with Aventa. Truma is offering free installation service through Truma service technicians through the end of March.
Truma said RV owners need to complete a survey with details about their RV, including photographs and measurements. Truma personnel will review the information to determine whether their RV is compatible with Aventa.
At the Hershey show, Truma also will lead four AquaGo owners workshops to educate RVers on the hot water heater. Customer Service Specialist Chantal Hershberger will lead the sessions.
