Truma North America is sponsoring the 25th Annual EnviroFest at Island Park in Elkhart, Indiana. The event will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Aug. 20.
The festival will host over 40 exhibitors and family activities including live music, face painting, free canoe rides and a beer garden.
The Elkhart Environmental Center puts on the region’s largest environmental festival every year to help promote sustainability and environmental education.
“The Elkhart Environmental Center does such an incredible job teaching members of our community about protecting our planet and our resources,” Truma North America CEO Gerhard Hundsberger said. “We are happy to support their mission and hope we can inspire others in the RV world to get involved as well,”
As part of the RV industry, Truma is passionate about spending time outdoors and want future generations to have that same privilege, Truma North America said.
To reduce the company’s carbon footprint, Truma incorporated environmentally sustainable technologies such as solar panels and geothermal heating and cooling into the company’s corporate headquarters.
To help the local environment, Truma hosted Spring clean-up events to reduce litter along Elkhart County highways.
