Elkhart, Indiana-based supplier Truma is “poised for continued growth,” expanding the company’s product offerings and mobile service network this year.
The business stated it experienced solid growth each year since its North American opening in 2013. Truma unveiled its VarioHeat RV furnace and portable fridge/freezer last year, and is set to introduce two more new products in 2021.
“The continued growth Truma has experienced in North America the past six years is very exciting,” Truma North America President and CEO Gerhard Hundsberger said. “In the beginning, only a handful of OEMs were using our products. Now, we have a vast OEM customer list.”
The company stated it will expand its Mobile Service Technician network. Truma has mobile service technicians in Indiana, Florida and Texas, with plans to expand into additional states in coming years.
The company’s continued growth increased staffing requirements, Truma stated. At least 10 new positions at the company’s Elkhart headquarters will open up, along with remote technician and sales representative roles. Among positions to be filled are service technicians, sales representatives, product managers, technical trainers, information technology and marketing specialists.
“Although our systems are somewhat more expensive than competitor products, decision-makers have learned that using Truma products reduces a tremendous amount of supply chain issues, warranty costs and adds a significant amount of overall end-user satisfaction,” Hundsberger said.
