Overland and adventure trailer manufacturer Turtleback Trailers has relocated from Arizona to Tennessee.
The company, which launched in 2013, previously was based in Chandler. A dealer finalized by Wil-Ro Inc. owner and President Joshua Coster in May acquired Turtleback Trailers and moved the business to Gallatin, Tennessee.
“I am both excited and blessed to complete the acquisition of Turtleback Trailers,” Coster said. “Our team looks forward to building on Turtleback’s leading reputation within the overland industry. I look forward to seeing the brand grow and maintain its presence as the premier overland trailer manufacturer.”
The move to Tennessee joins Turtleback with the Wil-Ro factory. The company said the integration will streamline manufacturing, share resources and leverage synergies to meet increasing demand.
Turtleback Director of Sales Katelyn McGuire said the move is a thrilling step.
“We are committed to upholding our esteemed brand, supporting our close-knit community, and providing exceptional customer service to our loyal Herd while welcoming new enthusiasts to the Turtleback family,” McGuire said. “With great anticipation, we are laying the foundation for an exhilarating production launch in July 2023.”
Turtleback Trailers were on display at the Overland Expo West and Pacific Northwest shows. Looking ahead, the trailers will be on display at several overland expos, including Overland Expo East and SEMA.
Turtleback manufacturing is scheduled to resume in the summer of 2023. The first deliveries from the new Tennessee headquarters are expected between October-December 2023.
The Turtleback Trailers sales team is actively taking orders for Q4 2023 deliveries.
