Valterra Products hired Andy Mikesell as the company’s product manager, effective Feb. 27.
Mikesell previously was the general manager for Dealer Resources Group’s (DRG) Midwest division. Mikesell has been associated with Valterra for years, the company said, supporting dealer sales, training, merchandising and new product development.
In his new role, Valterra said Mikesell will lead the company in establishing a formal product management discipline. He will work closely with the company’s sales, marketing and operations teams, as well as customers, to identify new product and market opportunities, the company said.
“Andy brings a wealth of experience with the RV industry,” Valterra Products General Manager Bryan Fletcher said, “including being an avid RVer himself.”
Mikesell was promoted to DRG’s general manager in February 2006 after several years as a regional sales manager for Firestone’s Industrial Products Division.
