Dometic entered into an agreement to acquire Valterra Products last week, a move that Valterra stated puts “many opportunities” on the table.
“Our commitments to quality and great service remain firm through this acquisition,” Valterra Products President George Grengs said. “There are no changes planned for any of the Valterra or Go Power team, or how we do business. We see many opportunities in our association with Dometic and look forward to sharing more information going forward.”
The company stated it will continue to operate in its existing manner, now under the Dometic umbrella.
“We are pleased to announce that Dometic will be acquiring Valterra and Go Power,” Grengs said.
Dometic stated the acquisitions will broaden its stated position in the service and aftermarket segments with new products, a broader distribution network and “strengthened” market presence. The transaction also increases Dometic’s presence in the mobile power solutions market through Valterra’s Go Power brand.
“Valterra complements our product portfolio,” Dometic President and CEO Juan Vargues said, “and strengthens our offer to make Dometic even more relevant to our current and future customers.”
Financial terms were not disclosed.
