Virtual Compliance Training Dates Scheduled

The Association of Dealer Compliance Officers (ADCO) is holding a virtual training program from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time March 26-28.

The Basic Essentials Seminar will equip attendees with compliance management system implementation knowledge, skills, guidance and tools.

The seminar will provide dealer compliance officers with current Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulation information. An optional professional certification exam will be available at the seminar’s end.

Hourly sessions will include an introduction to federal compliance guidelines from the FTC and Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.

An introduction to federal regulations defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will be conducted. This includes regulations governing dealership retail; maintenance; repair operations; employees; business offices; human resources; advertisements and marketing; customer and employee communication and safety and health.

Compliance professionals will provide industry tactics and techniques. Confidential personality assessments such as DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness), Myers-Briggs (MBTI) and Enneagrams will be included. An algorithm with completed assessments will include personal leadership development tips and integrated, weekly coaching.

An environmental health and safety module will be provided. Human resources dealership-required policies and practices will be integrated into the seminar. A new module will cover the updated Safeguard Rule with a focus on the June 9 provisional requirements.

ADCO members’ registration costs $775 while non-members’ registration is $975.
