Voyager RV Donates Over $220,000 to Charity

Voyager RV, an RV dealership in British Columbia, Canada, donated $220,940 to its Voyager Cares Initiative. The dealership donates to local charities whenever a consumer buys an RV from them.

The Voyager Cares Initiative was launched as an intentional way for Voyager RV to give back to the central Okanagan community. After buying an RV, consumers select one of six local charities to receive a portion of their RV purchase proceeds. The rest of the proceeds are divided among the remaining organizations.

Voyager RV’s Vice President Jason Friesen said, “It is a simple concept, but it works really well because our staff and now our customers get to be a huge part of it. It all leads to us being in a position to be able to choose to make these substantial donation amounts. It’s a pretty cool experience for all.”

Most recently, Voyager RV welcomed two new charitable partners into the fold—Autism Okanagan and the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. Autism Okanagan was presented with $20,040 and Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) Kelowna with $41,546.

Voyager Cares also donated $19,420 to the Central Okanagan Food Bank, $18,020 to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter and $16,760 to the KGH Foundation.
