Way Interglobal will launch a dual-swing door refrigerator later this year. The refrigerator, which will be branded as Everchill, swings open from either side and first will be available in a 10.7-cubic-foot size.
“We continue to try and innovate within the RV refrigeration space,” Way CEO Wayne Kaylor said. “We want to help both our OEM customers who trust the Everchill brand and RV owners who want convenience and efficiency while in their home on the road.”
Way stated the 12-volt refrigerator will be the first of its kind in the RV marketplace. The supplier stated the refrigerator’s convenience and space-saving features will benefit RV manufacturers and owners.
The dual-swing model will be part of the Everchill Premier Series and will feature a durable glass front finish. Chris Greer, Way vice president of product development, said the supplier eventually plans to offer more sizes with the dual-swing capability.
“We were first with 12-volt models and will continue to be the leader in RV refrigeration,” Kaylor said. “With the dual-swing innovation, Way will make life easier for RV manufacturers and more convenient for lovers of the RV lifestyle. This model will help remove kitchen layout challenges, up manufacturing efficiency, and help owners get the most out of the RV refrigerator.”
Way stated Everchill dual-swing refrigerator models will be available mid-summer 2022, in time for model year changeovers occurring after the July 4 break.
