WhereSafe GPS released updates to advance security. The supplier launched a new product, updated its GPS tracking app and revamped its website.
WhereSafe President Conrad Galambos said, “Given the state of auto theft currently, in all regions of North America, it was time for WhereSafe GPS to improve our hardware and software technologies to offer consumers more ways to protect valuable assets from thieves.”
WhereSafe’s new product, One Tracker, provides consumers with the ability to track RVs, bikes, off-road vehicles and equipment. RVers receive monitoring notifications through their phone. The tracker has wire-free installation and can withstand weather temperatures ranging from -30 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. According to WhereSafe, the tracker lasts up to eight hours on one set of two AA batteries.
The company updated its app with safety features. These include real-time GPS tracking, history logs and customizable geofencing. Geofencing creates a virtual geographic boundary around a particular area. When the boundary is broken, consumers are notified.
Consumers can manage their app profiles with the ability to invite, add or delete collaborators. The GPS device management was enhanced, and the interface was simplified. Consumers can view battery life and device status.
WhereSafe redesigned its website to streamline the consumer experience. A consumer-friendly interface and intuitive navigation were integrated. The website holds WhereSafe’s product range, resources and information.
