Winnebago and Adventure Wagon have collaborated on a limited edition Type B motorhome, combining the companies’ craftsmanship and innovation to build the adventure vehicle, the companies said.

The limited-edition Winnebago + Adventure Wagon vans are based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 chassis. The motorhomes feature Adventure Wagon’s Modular Interior System.

“We are excited to partner with Adventure Wagon, a brand that shares the same values of innovation and quality,” said Russ Garfin, Winnebago’s director of product management. “This partnership unlocks opportunities for consumers who desire flexibility across a variety of lifestyle applications. Whether it is family camping or gear hauling, or weekday work platform to weekend home base, the Winnebago + Adventure Wagon platform empowers our diverse customer base to make it their own.”

The Adventure Wagon platform provides consumers possibilities to add, remove and rearrange Adventure Wagon and Winnebago components. Owners can safely secure cargo and consumer creations such as equipment racks, desks, galleyA picture of the Winnebago 2023 limited edition Adventure Wagon interior showing soft-sized storage and an orange mattresss and more to customize the van for adventure demands.

The motorhome comes standard with Adventure Wagon’s MOAB elevator bed and Mule Bags for soft overhead storage. The MOAB bed can move up and down or be removed completely. The Mule Bags provide overhead storage and placement flexibility.

Winnebago built the motorhome and upgraded areas such as upfitting to the company’s WinnSleep mattress. The floorplan offers modular seating options, cooking and refrigeration components, a potable water system, a self-contained toilet and a separate 120-volt power supply.

The Winnebago + Adventure Wagon vans will be available at select Winnebago dealers Spring 2023.

“This collaboration with Winnebago brings a new vision that fills an unmet need in the RV market, one with a more flexible approach to meet every day needs,” Adventure Wagon founder and CEO Chad Smith said. “With this partnership, we are broadening our commitment to make Adventure Wagon’s versatile platform accessible to more people with a turnkey, financeable buying experience through the Winnebago dealer network.”
