
Winnebago Industries published its 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report. The study highlighted the company’s initiatives toward its environmental, social and governance goals.
President and CEO Mike Happe said, “Our 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report reflects our unwavering commitment to building a sustainable future while driving positive social impact.”
The 2024 annual report is the sixth the company released.
The report promoted Winnebago’s 2024 achievements including:
- A 10% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions and overall water consumption between 2020 and the end of fiscal year 2023.
- Year-over-year improvement of 29% for Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), a safety metric measuring work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Year-over-year improvement of 21% for Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART), a metric used by federal regulators to measure workplaces injuries and illnesses resulting in an employee missing work, having restricted work activity or being transferred to another job because of illness or injury.
- A year-round employee-driven community engagement program that includes an interactive app that tracks employee volunteer hours, and includes donation matching and volunteer rewards.
- The introduction of the Winnebago Connect software monitoring system.
- Recognition by USA Today as one of America’s Climate Leaders and Newsweek as one of America’s Most Responsible and Most Trustworthy Companies.
The study is in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Universal Standards. The report includes recommendations aligned with the Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures. The company’s Sustainability Accounting Standards Board index is also included.
Winnebago’s responsibility efforts focus on nine priorities: Ethics and integrity, safety, people, inclusion and belonging, community, waste, emissions, product stewardship and water.
Winnebago General Counsel and Corporate Responsibility Lead Stacy Bogart said, “We are passionate about supporting our people and protecting our planet, and we are proud of the collective progress our teams have made toward our goals in 2024.”
Bogart said Winnebago remains dedicated to accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
