Consultant Valerie Ziebron will study the difference between a shop that scrapes by and one that is profitable and keeps customers satisfied during a supersession in the fixed-ops track at the RVDA Convention/Expo.
The Convention/Expo will take place Nov. 6-10, 2023, at Paris Las Vegas.
The supersession, titled “Cultivating a Top Performing Shop,” will be from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 8. During the two-hour session, Ziebron will examine small tweaks that can make a significant difference to a shop’s performance.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
- The areas where a dealer’s shop excels and that can be further developed to be strong competitive advantages
- The areas of opportunity that need work, including specific ways to turn them around
- Strategies top-performing shops are following differently than the rest
Earlier Nov. 8, Ziebron will lead another workshop.
Titled “Put the Advise in Advisor – Lessons from the Master Advisors,” the session runs from 8:45-9:45 a.m.
Ziebron has interviewed and observed over 100 top-performing service advisors to uncover tips dealers can follow to build customer loyalty and profitability at the service counter. These techniques work for shops of all sizes and help advisors work more proactively and with less job stress.
During the workshop, attendees will learn:
- Why advising on additional service lightens your workload
- How to build loyalty while selling more
- The two magic “E” words advisors use to build trust
Ziebron started VRZ Consulting in 1989 and has worked with hundreds of clients, big and small, to increase customer satisfaction, profitability and job enjoyment.
